The “Pontoon” Experience

Your Boat

It’s different on a pontoon boat – it just is — and that’s why Bali Hai is a Pontoon-only Charter service.

From the minute you step aboard you will notice the difference — deck space, stability, comfortable fishing stations, easy access into and out of the water and plenty of shade. Feel free to relax on the couch or enjoy God’s creation from one of the 4 high back captain’s chairs. There are plenty of cup holders and dry space – This boat was built for inshore and river enjoyment and don’t worry, the 3’ of boat rail fencing surrounding the deck will keep everyone safe and sound on the water.

Part fishing machine, part tour boat . . . Designed for maximum comfort . . . Made for fishing and cruising … and perfect for swimming and sunbathing – our brand new 25’ Avalon Catalina quad fish Pontoon boat will make your day on the bay or river better from the start. The Lady Di is a brand-new pontoon boat and the first of our growing fleet. She made her first cruise of St. Joe Bay and the Apalachicola River in the Fall of 2017. Her namesake was one of the great women of the South who had a special love for people and nature here in her native and beautiful Port St. Joe.

About Our Captain

You’ll notice three things about Capt. Tim right away.  First, you’ll notice that he’s a “people person” with a servant’s heart – he’s easy to spend time with. The second thing you will notice is his love for and knowledge of the Bay and the River – this is his home.  And the third his insistence that you have a good time on your charter.

Capt. Tim’s knowledge, respect, love and appreciation for St. Joe Bay and the Apalachicola River System runs deep – very deep. He was born here, grew up here, and has fished the Bay and River all his life.  Tim comes from a long line of the area’s great outdoorsmen and fishermen (and women) and four generations of his family have called this area home. He and his family have maintained a camp on the Apalachicola River for more than 40 years and once lived on an island in St. Joe Bay.

Capt. Tim is a USCG licensed captain and CPR/First Aid trained. He prides himself on safety, service and customer satisfaction and is looking forward to providing his customers with a memorable experience on the beautiful waters of St. Joseph Bay and the Apalachicola River.
